What you should expect from a premium mobile detailer in South Wales.
A proper detail is not a car wash. A supermarket jet-wash removes surface grime; a genuine detail decontaminates the paint, addresses swirls and defects, protects against the elements and refreshes the cabin so the vehicle looks, and drives, like a new car.
At The Auto Spa we bring that studio-grade process to your driveway. Every visit begins with a citrus and snow-foam pre-wash to lift traffic film without contact. Wheels, arches and barrels are addressed with dedicated cleaners so brake dust and iron fallout are removed rather than smeared. The bodywork gets a full contact-safe wash using the two-bucket method and a luxury shampoo, followed by iron and tar removers where needed. Only then is protection applied.
Prestige and supercars are our focus. Softer clear coats, matte finishes and PPF all demand a different touch. We use Gtechniq and CarPro coatings in 3, 5 and 7-year tiers, with up to three-stage machine paint correction beforehand to remove swirls, oxidation and wash marring. Every coating is backed by our own workmanship warranty, valid for up to half the coating's stated lifespan when the correct aftercare is followed.
Cabins are treated with equal care. A thorough hoover, intricate brushes and compressed air lift trapped debris. Textiles are steam cleaned and shampooed; leather is deep-cleaned and conditioned. On our Premium Package the entire cabin is fogged with a hospital-grade mist disinfectant, the same treatment used against MRSA and COVID-19, so the car smells and feels genuinely clean, not perfumed.
Why mobile? Because your time matters. Our van carries its own water, power, lighting and every product needed to complete the job. We work from your driveway, your workplace car park or our unit at Cwmbach Industrial Estate. All you need to do is hand over the keys.

Do you take a deposit?+
Yes, all bookings are secured with a 20% deposit. This locks in your slot and covers our travel.
Which areas do you cover?+
Our studio is in Cwmbach, Aberdare. We regularly detail across the valleys, Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Merthyr, Pontypridd, Ebbw Vale, Treharris and Porthcawl. Ask if you're outside these, we'll usually still travel.
How is a ceramic coating warrantied?+
Every coating we apply is backed by our own workmanship warranty, valid for up to half the coating's stated lifespan. It requires the coating to be properly maintained, if incorrect products or techniques have been used by another party, the warranty may not apply.
What payment methods do you accept?+
Cash and BACS bank transfer. Card payments will be available once our new unit is completed.
Are you insured?+
Yes, we hold motor-trade insurance covering vehicles in our care, custody and control.
How long does a detail take?+
Anywhere from around 30 minutes for an essential wash up to four hours for a Premium Package. Ceramic coatings and paint correction are booked by consultation.
